What I noticed first is how flat and tidy it is when put away, which makes it easy to keep discreetly in a drawer without taking up space. The leather feels firm but not rough, and the adjustment holes are cleanly finished. It did take me a couple of tries to find the most natural setting, so I would not call it instantly intuitive, but once adjusted it feels stable and properly made.
I expected the adjustments to be a bit fiddly, but it was actually easier to manage than I thought. The leather has enough structure to feel secure in the hand, and the two sections can be set without much fuss once you understand the layout. The first try took a moment because I did not want to tighten it too quickly, but after that it felt straightforward and controlled. The black finish also makes it look more discreet than I expected. My only small reservation is that the buckles need a little patience at first, especially if you are cautious like me. Still, it feels well made and more approachable than I assumed.
Felt comfortable straight away, just slightly firmer than I expected.
After a few uses, the material feels smooth and sturdy, though it took a little time to settle comfortably. The finish is clean and easy to keep discreet.
I have used it a handful of times now, and the main thing I notice is the material. It feels tougher than I expected, but still bends easily without feeling flimsy. The black finish is clean and quite understated, and so far it has kept its shape well after being stretched and handled. At first the surface felt a little grippier than I was used to, so I needed a short adjustment period to position it comfortably. Once I got used to that, it became much easier to use. I would not call it perfect for every preference, but the build feels reliable and more durable than many similar flexible accessories I have tried.
