I was a bit nervous ordering something like this, and honestly expected it to feel more complicated once set up. It turned out calmer and more approachable than I had imagined. The finish feels solid, and the adjustments are easier to understand after a little patience. My only small note is that it needs a moment to find the most comfortable positioning. Once that was sorted, it felt secure and much less intimidating than I thought.
The construction feels more serious than I expected, with firm webbing, tidy stitching and hardware that does not feel flimsy in the hand. Setting the straps evenly took me a couple of attempts, but once the lengths were marked mentally it became much easier to put away and bring out again. It folds smaller than I imagined, although the buckles and hanging points stop it from becoming completely flat, so I keep the straps wrapped with a simple band to avoid tangling. The surface is easy to wipe and the finish looks neat. My only hesitation is that it needs a little care when stored, otherwise it looks messy quickly. Still a solid, well-made accessory.
Power levels are precise, though the stronger setting took adjustment.
I expected it to be fiddly, but it was easier to position than I thought. The controls are simple too, though I needed a minute to find the best grip.
What stood out straight away was the neat finish rather than anything flashy. The edges feel clean, the shape looks well thought out, and it has a solid look without being bulky. In the hand it gave a better impression than I expected from the photos. My only small note is that the larger size makes it feel quite present at first, but the quality impression is genuinely strong.
